MESA, AZ - Authorities say four men are in custody in connection with a string of arsons in Mesa over the past 15 months.
Mesa police say 20-year-old Spencer Scott Owens, 19-year-old Travis Lee Hanson, 19-year-old Clayton Charles Becker and 18-year-old Zachary Sean Bergin all were arrested Thursday.
The four are accused of using a butane torch to set fire to cars, landscaping, sheds, and houses.
No injuries were reported in any of the fires.
Police say investigators were recently able to identify Hanson as a person of interest in the case and began tracking him.
They say investigators bought drugs from the suspects in order to learn more about their network and find out who was involved in the fires.
Police didn't immediately know if any of the four suspects have lawyers.
