MESA, AZ - The Mesa Police Department arrested a suspect Tuesday afternoon who they believe has robbed several banks in the Mesa area.
According to Sgt. Tony Landato with the Mesa Police Department, the suspect robbed the Desert Schools Credit Union at Stapley Drive and Brown Road in Mesa on Tuesday morning.
The suspect escaped from the scene, and went to a residence near the bank where police arrested the suspect.
Mesa police believe the suspect may be responsible for two other recent robberies in Mesa.
