MESA, AZ - The Mesa Arts Center kicked off October's Breast Cancer Awareness month by hosting an event called Tutu Tuesday.
The MAC asked event-goers to come clad in pink tutus, but they had some on hand to sell.
Photographer Bob Carey's exhibit titled Ballerina was on display inside the MAC during the event. The pictures in the exhibit are photos of Carey wearing a pink tutu in various locations around the world to raise awareness for breast cancer.
MAC officials said in a press release that they hoped the event would raise funds for the American Cancer Society and Cancer Care for breast cancer research.
