MESA, AZ - As Father's Day approaches, a son is pleading for justice in his father's death two weeks ago at a Mesa gas station.
On May 31, 52-year-old Ibrahim Robles was shot to death around 11 p.m. at a Valero gas station where he worked near Broadway and Gilbert roads.
The suspect was caught on camera, but he's still on the loose. Police say they have no new leads.
Robles' son, who is named after his dad, packed up his father's belongings Friday. He hopes police catch the criminal, and his family finds justice.
"He was a brother, a son, a father," Robles said about his dad. "I mean this guy could be out there and do the same thing. He could hurt someone else. It hurts to know he's out there."
He said this Father's Day will be difficult.
"I'm going to be thinking of my dad, enjoying it the best I can and be strong for him," he said.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s with a medium build. He was wearing a light-colored hat with a dark-colored bill, black or dark-colored long-sleeve shirt, gray or light-colored pants and black shoes.
