MESA, AZ - The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help locating a man suspected of attacking a 16-year-old girl in Mesa.
MCSO spokesman Chris Hegstrom said the incident happened around 6 p.m. near Crismon Road and University Drive.
Authorities say the suspect pulled a weapon on the girl and tried to detain her.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 9 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 150 pounds, medium build, short dirty blond hair, light colored skin, green or blue eyes and wearing a goatee.
He was last seen wearing black pants and a white short sleeve shirt.
