MESA, AZ - Police arrested a man in connection with a Mesa hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist last week.
Mesa police Sgt. Tony Landato said 36-year-old Matthew S. McIver is being booked on manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
The collision happened at Ray and Sossaman roads around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 13. The victim was a man in his 60s.
Landato said McIver's light silver 2005 Saturn VUE was impounded as a part of the investigation.
Police were able to track McIver down with a tip from a citizen, Landato said.
