MESA, AZ - Police say a man who was forced to fall off the top of a Mesa parking garage by a one-armed man has died.
Police have arrested the man they believe is responsible for forcing the man to fall.
Roderick Deshan Wagoner, 20, who has a prosthetic arm in place of a real one, has been arrested one one count of second degree murder.
Wagoner has not admitted involvement in the crime. Police said Monday he was booked at the Mesa Police holding facility and will be transported the 4th Avenue jail.
Witnesses said the two were chasing each other on the third story of the parking garage near Center and Main streets around 8 p.m. Sunday.
At one point, the victim reportedly ended up hanging by his hands over the outside of the garage wall.
Police said the Wagoner poked and hit the victim until he lost his grip and fell more than 30 feet onto the hard asphalt below.
The victim was in the hospital, unconscious and in critical condition. Police told ABC15 that he has since passed away.
It's not known what the two were fighting about, but police believe the two men know each other.
