MESA, AZ - Want to keep your family’s one dog or cat the only animal in the home?
Maricopa County Animal Care and Control will hand out vouchers for the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) for a free surgery this month. The East Valley event will be 2 to 6 p.m. Sept. 20 at the MCACC East Shelter, 2630 W. Eighth St., Mesa.
A limited number of vouchers are available. Typically, applications take several weeks to process, but during this event, pet owners can walk away with the voucher in hand.
The event is sponsored by the Lulu’s Fund, part of the Timothy T. Day Foundation. There are 72 participating clinics that will honor the voucher, according to MCACC.
