FBI searching for 'Baseball Babe Bandit' in connection with Mesa bank robberies

MESA, AZ - The FBI is asking for help identifying a female bank robber who is known as the “Baseball Babe Bandit.”

Authorities believe that she robbed the Compass Bank at 1325 W. Southern Ave. in Mesa on March 27 and the Compass Bank at 4450 E. Main St. in Mesa on April 27.

She is also believed to be responsible for robbing the Bank of America at 901 North Dobson Rd. in Mesa on June 28.

The FBI says that she threatens employee, provides a demand note and has been observed leaving on a bike.

The is described as a white female around 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds.

She generally wears a baseball style hat and latex gloves and is described as having a youthful appearance.
