MESA, AZ - The City of Mesa will be holding a special After Thanksgiving Sale for their surplus items starting Tuesday.
The sale offers customers an extra 10 percent off of items not already on sale, according to the City of Mesa.
Items including appliances, furniture, TVs, tools, jewelry, computers and more are available at the surplus sale, held every Tuesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon at the City of Mesa Warehouse.
The City of Mesa says that they have great deals on bicycles, which are on sale for 75 percent off, band instruments, which are 50 percent off, and desktop computers for $20 off.
New items will be added each day for the sale through Dec. 20.
The items come from unclaimed police evidence, asset forfeiture items and surplus items from various City departments.
As a heads up to potential customers, the City of Mesa says their asset forfeiture merchandise can not be purchased by City employees or their immediate household.
Surplus purchases through the warehouse, eBay or Public Surplus benefit the City of Mesa General Fund, which made over $200,000 in the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
For more information, visit the City of Mesa online or call 480-644-2663.
