MESA, AZ - With the tragedy that struck in Newtown Connecticut, the Learning Foundation and Performing Arts charter school in Mesa decided to host a candlelight vigil Monday night.

It honored Sandy Hook Elementary School and all the families that are suffering through this horrific event.

They shared thoughts, paused for a moment of silence and lit candles out of respect for the victims.

“There is no greater lesson we can teach our children, than how to love,” the school’s principal, Nikki Triggs said.
