MESA, AZ - Christina Sanchez, who went missing from her East Valley home Tuesday morning, has been found according to Mesa police.

Sgt. Steve Berry said Christina Sanchez was located in Vega, Texas when the man she was traveling with was stopped for speeding.

Sanchez was last seen Tuesday morning leaving her home near Mesa Drive and Southern Avenue.

Police believed Sanchez was with an older Hispanic male who goes by “Omar.”

The teen's family told police they thought  “Omar” would try to take Christina to Mexico.

It is unclear at this time if 'Omar' is the man Sanchez was traveling with when she was found.

Sanchez is 17 years old, but she has a capacity of a 10-year-old, according to Berry.
