MESA, AZ - UPDATE: Israel was located January 14 in Clinton, Maine.
The Mesa Police Department is asking for the Public’s help to find a missing 14-year-old.
Police say Israel Lopez ran away from home after being released from the Mayfield Center on Friday.
According to Police, Lopez took his personal belongs when he left the Mayfield Center, but he did not take his medication for a seizure disorder. Lopez is prescribed to take his medication twice a day.
Police say Lopez has told his friends he is going to Maine so he can live with his mother.
Lopez’s father is currently his legal guardian.
