GILBERT, AZ - Gilbert police are investigating an aggravated assault case regarding a 14-year-old girl that occurred just before 11 a.m. Friday.
According to police, the female victim was found unconscious by a passing motorist at a bus stop at South Columbus Drive and East Mesquite Street.
The victim's belongings were also scattered nearby but her wallet was missing.
Gilbert police say the girl reported that two older boys had grabbed her breast at the bus stop, but she did not remember how she became unconscious.
The girl was transported to the hospital for evaluation and detectives were notified of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say the victim may know one of the individuals who attacked her.
