GILBERT, AZ - Police say a man and his wife were arrested Wednesday in connection with 10 robberies in the last month.
Chandler, Mesa and Gilbert Police departments came together to find and arrest the couple.
Luke Broeker, 30, and Shannon Broeker, 27, were found in a motel in Mesa, police said.
The robberies at businesses like Fry’s and Walgreen’s reportedly began in August.
Police said the couple would pretend to buy merchandise and as soon as the clerk opened the register, they'd steal the cash.
Shannon Broeker would allegedly wait in the getaway car with the couples' four children ages 1 to 6.
Police say the children were not harmed during the crimes.
The Broekers were charged with multiple counts of robbery and charges relating to having their children in the vehicle during the crimes, police said.
