GILBERT - Authorities are searching for two suspects believed to be connected to an overnight shooting at a Gilbert apartment complex.
Sgt. Jesse Sanger of the Gilbert Police Department said officers were called to an apartment complex near Pecos and Recker shortly after 11 p.m. Friday evening for reports of a shooting.
Sanger said a 19-year-old male was shot in the chest and had an injury to his head. He was transported to Scottsdale Osborne Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was later released.
Police are currently looking for two suspects, known to the victim, who entered the apartment and after an altercation began shooting.
A description for the suspects was not immediately available.
