GILBERT, AZ -
A Gilbert woman is in custody for allegedly stabbing her husband's cell phone.

Gilbert police say 35-year-old Patricia Stradling was being held Monday on suspicion of assault domestic violence, criminal damage domestic violence and disorderly conduct domestic violence.

The East Valley Tribune says police officers were called to the couple's home early Monday.

They say Stradling is accused of grabbing a knife during an argument with her husband and stabbing his phone.

The man was able to take the knife away from her without injury and told police he wasn't threatened or assaulted with the knife.

Police didn't immediately know Monday afternoon whether Stradling had legal representation yet for her case
