Mom robbed in parking lot of Ross Dress for Less in Gilbert while loading child, purchases into car

GILBERT, AZ -

A 22-year-old woman was robbed shortly after noon Monday in the parking lot of a Gilbert Ross Dress for Less, police said.

The woman was loading her child and purchases into her vehicle when a man approached her from behind as she stood at the driver’s door, police said. He allegedly took the woman’s purse from the vehicle, police said.

Click here to find out more! Police describe the suspect as a man between 5’6” and 5’10” tall, weighing between 140 and 150 lbs. He was seen leaving in a black pickup truck. No injuries were sustained and a weapon wasn’t seen or used during the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
