GILBERT, AZ - Gilbert police are looking for the public's help to identify a suspect in a robbery at a Walgreens a week ago.
According to a Gilbert police news release, at around 1 a.m. last Thursday a black male arrived at the Walgreens store at Cooper and Warner roads in a two-tone Lincoln Town Car.
The suspect got out of the passenger side of the car and went into the store and began to purchase a pack of gum.
Police said when the cashier opened the register drawer the suspect reached across the counter and began taking out money.
The suspect then walked out the front door and got back into the passenger side of the car waiting in the parking lot.
Police said no weapons were shown or implied and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build, in his late 20s, wearing black and white knit shorts, a black T-shirt, a black baseball hat and black tennis shoes.
