GILBERT, AZ - A house fire sent smoke into the sky in the East Valley Friday morning.
Mike Connor with the Gilbert Fire Department said crews responded to the scene and found the fire at the center of the home near Higley and Riggs roads.
The homeowner said that everyone was able to get out of the home safely.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
