GILBERT, AZ - A hot air balloon made an emergency landing in a Gilbert neighborhood Sunday morning.
The balloon landed in the middle of the street in a subdivision southeast of Gilbert High School.
"I was coming home from Fry's and could see it slowly descending," said Gilbert resident Kim Hansen. "It appeared to be coming down over our house."
Initial reports indicate no one was injured.
"The operator of the hot air balloon did a fantastic job of bringing it down on the street between the houses," Hansen said.
