GILBERT, AZ - A 15-year-old Gilbert girl was injured during a hit-and-run Friday night and police are still attempting to locate the driver Monday.
According to Gilbert police, the teen was crossing Ranch House Parkway near Haven Crest Drive around 10:40 p.m.
She was struck by a vehicle traveling north on Ranch House Parkway. The vehicle didn't stop after hitting her and continued driving.
The girl was airlifted to Maricopa Medical Center with significant, but non-life threatening injuries.
The car is described as a red passenger car with tinted windows.
