GILBERT, AZ -

A Gilbert woman accused of attacking her husband with a knitting needle and scissors has been arrested.

Belinda Boyd, 53, was arrested Aug. 30. According to Gilbert police, Boyd's 63-year-old husband received a small laceration to his right tricep when his wife attacked him with a 10-inch aluminum knitting needle and later, a pair of scissors.

Boyd was arrested and booked into the 4th Avenue Jail on suspicion of two counts of aggravated assault.
