GILBERT, AZ - Gilbert police arrested a man Wednesday after he allegedly robbed a Burger King at gunpoint.
According to the Gilbert Police Department, on Wednesday afternoon, James Richard Miletta, 74, walked into the Burger King at Warner and Val Vista roads and told the cashier he was having a bad day.
Officials said Miletta allegedly pulled out a handgun and demanded money.
Miletta took off in a Chevrolet vehicle after the cashier gave him the cash.
Police said that about five minutes later, officers located and arrested Miletta.
Officers found the handgun and the stolen money, police said.
According to authorities, Miletta admitted to robbing the Burger King and was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail.
