GILBERT, AZ - The Gilbert Police Department has made an arrest of a 19-year-old who allegedly exposed himself to a female jogger late last month.

Gilbert police arrested 19-year-old Derrius Kelly on Tuesday after an anonymous person called the Gilbert police, and told them they saw a male subject who looked like the one who was on the news.

The initial incident happened on December 27th around 1:20 p.m. near Higley and Frye roads. The suspect exposed himself, and escaped from the scene on a red mountain bike, according to police.

Police say Kelly was walking in the area of Power and Germann in Gilbert when he was approached by police, which is close by to where he was wanted for the indecent exposure.

Kelly has been charged with indecent exposure, which is a class one misdemeanor.
