GILBERT, AZ - Gilbert police were called to the scene of a bar fight early Sunday morning.
According to police, 29-year-old Chandler resident Michael Williams is being called a subject in an altercation that involved multiple people outside of Jake’s Bar on Queen Creek Road around 1:35 a.m. Sunday.
Williams sustained injuries during the fight and was transported to Gilbert Mercy Hospital.
Police are investigating the ordeal and believe that Williams initiated the fight with employees when he was asked to leave.
Williams is being cited for DUI, Criminal Damage to Property, Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
