GILBERT, AZ - Gilbert police arrested a 55-year-old man on Tuesday who’s accused of robbing a bank.
Officers said Donald McKay entered a U.S. Bank just after 9 a.m.
According to police reports, McKay had a revolver and demanded money from the teller drawer.
Officers working off-duty in a nearby construction zone watched McKay drive off near the Loop 202 and Williams Field Road.
Police then stopped the car and arrested him on suspicion of armed robbery.
