An Arizona soldier who survived a terrorist attack in Afghanistan is getting his wish after asking out a local celebrity violinist.
Army Private 1st Class Devin Hineman’s convoy was hit hard by suicide car bombers while on an escort mission.
Hineman was peppered with shrapnel but the Chandler high school graduate is expected to make a full recovery.
But Hineman wanted to connect with Gilbert native Lindsey Stirling and now he’ll get his wish.
Stirling has agree to meet with Hineman.
We’ll have to wait to see how the meet-up goes.
