CHANDLER, AZ - A small plane registered to a flight-training school was forced to make an emergency landing in a Chandler field because of a mechanic problem.
Chandler Fire Department officials say the Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub landed in an oat field Thursday morning near Cooper and Riggs roads.
The pilot and student aboard the plane weren't injured and the plane had little damage.
Authorities didn't immediately release the names of the two people aboard or the name of the flight-training school.
