CHANDLER, AZ - A high school teacher who has been missing since last month has been found dead in Scottsdale.
Chandler police spokesman Seth Tyler said police found the body of Jean Valentino, 56, in her car in the Scottsdale Fashion Square parking garage around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
Valentino was reported missing on Aug. 25 after she left her fiance's house in Chandler. She was an English teacher who taught at North Canyon High School in Phoenix.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the death, but do not suspect foul play.
Tyler says police hope to learn the cause of death in several days.
