CHANDLER, AZ - Chandler police are looking for the public's help identifying a suspect in several residential burglaries in the southeast Valley.
Det. Seth Tyler said that over the past five months a black male in his 20s or 30s has burglarized eight homes in Chandler, Tempe and Sun Lakes.
The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall with a heavy build. He speaks English but has a thick Jamaican accent, Tyler said.
Tyler said in each case thousands of dollars in cash and valuables were stolen.
Surveillance video shows the suspect wearing a light-colored hooded pullover sweatshirt, long pants and Nike brand shoes. He wears gloves and carries a light-colored backpack.
