CHANDLER, AZ - Authorities say a pregnant woman seriously injured in a traffic crash in Chandler has delivered her baby before dying at a hospital.
Chandler police say the name of the 30-year-old woman is being withheld until her family can be notified.
The woman was taken to a Chandler-area hospital Wednesday after a collision near Gilbert and Ocotillo roads.
The Arizona Republic says the woman was a backseat passenger in a sedan when the car was struck by a flatbed truck.
There were no other reported injuries.
Police say excessive speed by the two drivers and impairment didn't appear to be factors in the crash.
