SUN LAKES, AZ - Maricopa County Sheriff's officials say deputies are investigating a murder-suicide in the Sun Lakes community near Chandler.
The incident happened around 5:35 p.m. at a home near Foster Avenue and Pinewood Drive.
MCSO spokesman Brandon Jones said someone contacted deputies saying they were receiving messages from someone at the home saying that they were going to kill themselves.
Jones said the person is believed to have lived alone.
When deputies arrived to check on the person sending the messages, they got no response so they had to crawl through a back window.
Once inside the home, deputies found two dead adults and two dead dogs.
Jones said deputies are investigating this as a murder-suicide. No identifications have been made.
