AVONDALE, AZ - Police are investigating after officers found a man shot to death in an Avondale home.
Avondale police say a call came in around 9 p.m. Thursday for shots fired and when officers responded they found an adult male dead inside a home near Thomas and Dysart roads.
The case is being treated as a homicide and officials say they do not believe the shooting was a random act.
Police are searching for the suspect and they just got a search warrant and are now inside the home.
Police have not yet been able to identify the victim. So far they have no witnesses.
