PHOENIX - Four Valley families are getting home makeovers Monday. It's part of a major volunteer effort by Papa Muphy's Take 'N Bake Pizza to help out area families in need.
Monday morning hundreds of volunteers are working at the homes in Phoenix, Mesa and Chandler to kick off their national convention.
They're painting, doing yard work, making repairs and doing minor remodeling.
Some of the homes are even getting new fixtures and appliances.
Papa Murphy's Pizza teamed up with St. Vincent de Paul to find the four families.
They raised $25,000 and many area businesses also donated supplies like beds, bedding and furniture.
St. Vincent de Paul's Fresh Perspectives is a team-building program geared toward companies and businesses looking for ways to make an impact locally.
So far 75 Phoenix-area families have benefited from the program.
