PHOENIX - Officials are investigating what lead to one man being shot in south Phoenix on Wednesday morning.
According to Phoenix police, one man was shot in the head near Central and South Mountain Avenues.
The victim was driven away from the scene by friends. When police responded to the scene they found the victim in a vehicle.
The victim was able to identify the suspect by name, police said.
Police were able to locate the suspect in a nearby mobile home and took him into custody.
It is unknown what lead to the shooting.
The victim is expected to survive his injuries.
