PHOENIX - Authorities say a man has been killed at a south Phoenix business.
Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Chris Ketterer said paramedics responded to Gregory Packaging near 55th Avenue and Buckeye Road where an air conditioning contractor was working.
Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said the worker was inside the refrigerator section of the facility when the accident occurred.
Crump said the man was on a scissor lift and his clothing got caught on the controls, lifting him and crushing him to death.
Police have not released the victim's identity.
