PHOENIX - A water main break in south Phoenix created a muddy mess that impacted nearby traffic all day Friday.
The affected area was 12th Street and Broadway Road.
Ken Kroski with the City of Phoenix Water Services Department said no one was out of water due to the water main break, but traffic was delayed in the area.
Air15 video showed city workers at the location around 2 p.m. assessing the damage. The cause is unknown.
The intersection was closed for hours while crews worked to clean up the mess.
