PHOENIX - A woman lost her life Monday afternoon after her van was hit during a pursuit in Phoenix
Phoenix police spokesman Trent Crump said the incident started near 27th Avenue and Baseline when a silver 2-door Mazda rear ended a Chevy Trailblazer with a woman and three teenagers inside.
Crump said the Trailblazer took off after the Mazda down 27th Avenue.
While the driver of the Trailblazer was pursuing the Mazda, it lost control and hit another person's van killing the female driver inside.
Authorities are currently questioning the driver of the Trailblazer. Police are still looking for the driver of the Mazda who fled the scene.
Police have not released the identities of the people involved at this time.
