PHOENIX - Nine people, including an infant, were rescued from dangerous flood waters Tuesday night in north Phoenix.

Fire crews said three cars and a dump truck got swept off Carefree Highway near Interstate-17, leaving the motorists stranded.

Air15 was overhead as a man and a baby were rescued from their car.

Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Scott McDonald said no one was taken to the hospital.

Carefree Highway at I-17 was shut down for hours during the rescue.
