PHOENIX - A man was transported to a local hospital after crashing into a building Sunday in north Phoenix.

Scott McDonald with the Phoenix Fire Department said crews responded to the area of Northern and 27th avenues around 6:30 p.m. after a pickup truck hit the side of the building.

McDonald said the man driving the truck had an apparent medical condition and was transported from the scene.

His condition is unknown as of Sunday evening.
