PHOENIX - Police are calling the death of a baby girl "suspicious" and are conducting an investigation Wednesday in Phoenix.
Phoenix police say the female, who they described as under 12 months old, was rushed to the hospital around 3:30 a.m.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the baby’s death at the Palomino Pointe Apartments near 29th Street and Greenway Road.
In an e-mail sent around 4 p.m. police said they had no new information and that they did not anticipate having updates any time soon.
