PHOENIX - A 3-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital Sunday morning after he was run over in a north Phoenix neighborhood.
Phoenix police Sgt. Steve Martos said a 10-year-old child who was playing inside a parked SUV near 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road apparently took the car out of gear and ran over the 3-year-old.
Officers said the kids were outside helping their mom put up Christmas decorations when the accident happened.
The boy was transported to a local hospital. He is expected to survive.
