PHOENIX - Phoenix police say a man is in extremely critical condition Thursday night after what police are calling a road rage shooting.
Phoenix police Officer James Holmes said the incident started when two men in a pickup truck were being followed by a man on a motorcycle.
According to police, the men in the pickup truck were getting flashed by the high beams of the motorcyclist behind them.
The pickup truck and motorcycle pulled into a cul-de-sac near 32nd Street and Beardsley.
The driver of the truck got out and confronted the motorcycle rider. The motorcyclist pulled out a gun and shot the pickup driver in the face. The cyclist then fled the scene.
Homes said the pickup driver was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Police are still looking for the man on the motorcycle.
