PHOENIX - A family of four and some dogs escaped a fire that started at north Phoenix home early Wednesday.
Phoenix fire officials at the scene said someone was passing by the home in the area of 27th Drive and Dove Valley Road and saw flames.
The person alerted the family inside and four people, including some dogs, got out safely.
A truck parked in the driveway reportedly caught fire and the flames spread to the garage.
Crews were able to quickly put out the fire and kept it from spreading beyond the garage.
It is unclear what caused the truck to catch fire.
