NEW RIVER, AZ - A medical helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing during a medical transport near New River, Ariz.
Guardian Air was enroute to Phoenix Good Samaritan Hospital from Tuba City, Ariz. with a patient and medical crew on board when it was forced to make an emergency landing near New River and Circle Mountain Roads, said Joaquin Enriquez, spokesman for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
The Bell 402 aircraft experienced an electrical problem and smoke entered the cockpit, police said.
There were no injuries to the patient or medical staff on board, Wilson said.
