PHOENIX - A person was taken to the hospital in serious condition after a crash between a school bus and SUV in north Phoenix Wednesday morning.
Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Jonathan Jacobs said the trapped victim needed to be extricated from the SUV by rescue crews.
Jacobs said one other person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He believes it was the bus driver.
There were no students on the bus at the time of the accident that occurred near 27th Street and Bell Road.
Air15 video showed the SUV rolled onto its side and the bus with front-end damage.
There was no immediate word on how the crash happened.
