PHOENIX - Authorities say there were only minor injuries after a city bus went off the road in the north Valley Friday morning.
Bart Graves with the Department of Public Safety said the Valley Metro Rapid bus went off the road near the off ramp at Interstate 17 and Happy Valley Road.
He said only minor injuries were reported. There was no word on how many people were aboard the bus.
Air15 video showed the bus at a stop in a dirt lot next to the roadway.
It appeared the bus ran through a ditch before coming to a stop.
Video showed damage to the front of the bus and what appeared to be a large piece of glass lying at the side.
There was no immediate word on what caused the accident.
