PHOENIX - Authorities caught a 19-year-old woman in north Phoenix earlier this week driving up to 105 miles per hour to see her boyfriend.

Jasmine Paige Fullbright was driving down from Camp Verde when an officer with the Arizona Department of Public Safety pulled her over Tuesday night, DPS spokesman Carrick Cook said.

It happened on southbound Interstate 17 near the Loop 101.

Fullbright told the officer she was on her way to see her boyfriend, Cook said.

She was reportedly cited for misdemeanor excessive speeding.
