PRESCOTT - All lanes on Interstate 17 are open, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation after a brush fire in the median forced lane restrictions Sunday afternoon.

The fire, two miles south of Cordes Junction created a six to ten mile backup for northbound and southbound traffic.

Bureau of Land Management spokeswoman Pam Mathis said they believe the 20-acre fire was human caused.

The fire at Milepost 259 started around 1 p.m.

There were no injuries reported.
